Quite the contrary, we are able to grow in new profound ways while encouraging and supporting each other, and our businesses thrive & become even more abundant because of our shared community. I love all of these girls with all my soul! At these retreats I always get to see old friends & make new ones. I went on my first international trip to Marrakech Morocco🌍 for an Escape Retreat. I’ve always wanted to see more of this amazing world! It was more amazing than I could’ve imagined! I met the most caring wonderful people EVERYWHERE! I learned so much about myself and being able to go alone and NEVER feeling lonely! I really felt like I fit right in. And that’s not always the case! Thank you Hair Love for the best trip!

This is the third Hair Love University event I’ve been to and by far the most experiential one. @heyelizabethfaye has somehow managed to create a gravitational force between a group of women who deeply crave connection and community.

We took a little hiatus to do a business course in Tulum Mexico. We expected the usual stuff: pricing, numbers, goal setting, strategies…but, what we got was so MUCH more! ✨ It was truly a magical week for the two of us, and we have come back inspired, feeling loved, reset, and even a little rewired in the best way possible! @heyelizabethfaye is a magical human, she is proof that when you follow your mission and purpose you will attract the same type of people who we have made lifelong friends. The Escape Retreat brings the best people! It was a growing experience for us and are excited to bring our renewed energy to our business and to the salon! My heart is overwhelmed with thanks for the amazing leadership team here. It’s been a blessing to show up and be truly cared for. Every meal, every excursion, every second has been so wonderfully curated and the attention to detail hasn’t gone unnoticed! The relief of knowing I’m cared for has allowed me to open my heart and find healing in a community of FANTASTIC women. Each tear we share has created lifelong bonds (& there’s been a lot of tears)! I’ve learned so much and grown so much over the last 5 days!

I could list all the breakthroughs I had this week in Tulum. The ones I got in the workshops & The ones I had during conversations. These are my people! These ladies (& @derek_solberg) are a group of people that I couldn’t have made up in my dream world. They are powerful, insightful, vulnerable and funny as shit!! My sides and cheeks still hurt from laughing. While my yoga mat will forever be soaked in tears. Both were much needed. Once again… Thank you for this experience. To those who made it happen, as well as myself for knowing what I need.💙
