7 Easy Ways to Raise Your Vibrations

Do you want to manifest your desires, feel better, attract more good, and elevate your energy? In this article we’ll cover seven easy ways you can raise your vibrations, so you can nama-SLAY.

But first, what is vibrational frequency all about?

When you raise your vibrational frequency you open the floodgates to abundance, happiness, and greater prosperity. You travel on the energy frequency and the vibration plane that you wish to exist on, and attract, like a magnet, all the goodness equal to that energetic frequency.

In its most basic form, everything is made up of atoms. But guess what? Those atoms are in constant motion and energy. Everything is energy. That potted plant in your kitchen, the rocks sitting in your backyard, even the phone or computer you’re using to read this post. When you view energy on a sub-atomic level you don’t find matter, you discover pure energy.

Here are 7 easy ways to increase your frequency and circulate positivity within yourself and to your tribe.

1. Deep breathing

It’s not surprising, but still amazing, that one of the key tools to raise your vibrations is already built into your body! When you breathe deeply you activate your diaphragm. This type of breathing is common in many types of yoga for a reason. When your diaphragm is activated it helps your body find calming vibrations, and effects your ENTIRE nervous system! Learning to breathe with our diaphragms helps circulate oxygen to all of our vital organs, and you’ll bet it opens you to good vibrations and energy.

2. Say or write something you are grateful for

It feels like we are ALWAYS talking about how good it is to have an attitude of gratitude. We talk about it at length in Workshop In A Box* and post about it a at least a few times a month; here’s why: NOTHING heightens your energy like focusing on the abundance and good that is already in your life! Everyone at Hair Love HQ keeps a gratitude journal. Although this may seem like a difficult task to do regularly, it is so worth it and doesn’t have to be super profound! Coffee, bubble baths, and wine make frequent appearances in our gratitude journals.

3. Kick your shoes off and connect with the earth

This is something we do at Hair Love Retreat** as a group – and it is amazing! Grounding or earthing is the practice of taking off your shoes and connecting your bare feet to the earth. This may sound like some major hippy-stuff, but don’t take my word for it – research shows grounding can reduce inflammation, improve sleep, relieve pain, speed up healing, and calm the nervous system. The earth literally supplies you with electrons to neutralize your charge, and vibrate higher.

So, kick your shoes off, walk on the grass or dirt or sand (whatever is closest!) and let those positive vibes flow!

4.Practice Mindfulness

Practicing mindfulness has so many benefits and you can do it wherever and for however long works for you. Mindfulness brings you into the present and allows you to appreciate your current experience. A couple tips:

-pay attention to your breathing.

-connect with your senses in that moment. Are you outside? Does the sun feel warm on your face? If there is a breeze, what does it sound like?

5.Surround yourself with high-vibing people

Did you know that your energy raises or drops depending on the highest vibrational frequency in your proximity? Yep. Jim Rohn was on the right track when he said “You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with”. Choose to surround yourself with people who empower you, share your morals, and pull you up! You deserve it.

6. Dance

What better way to get your energy vibrating than to start gyrating?! Adopting an active lifestyle triggers positive biochemistry, and a great way to do this mid-day is having a dance break! It may sound silly, but our team swears by this! Standing up from your computer, turning on some energizing music, and busting out some moves gets your blood pumping, good vibes flowing and definitely helps enhance the positive energy in the room. When in doubt, dance it out!

7. De-clutter your space

Your home and workspace should be a sanctuary where abundance and good energy can flow openly to you and your loved ones! If you want your space to flow with positive energy, having a clutter-free space is a must! Try dedicating about 15 minutes a day to organizing and decluttering to allow the positive vibes to pass through effortlessly. You can even dance while you’re cleaning for bonus positive-energy points!
